How to Install an ADCO RV Cover
Most people's first question when they consider purchasing an RV cover is, "How difficult is it to install?" This video should alleviate the concern. On average, a mid-size RV cover can be installed in around 15 minutes. With experience, it gets easier and faster! There are two basic methods for installation: (1) Climbing on the roof and (2) Using a stepladder. In both scenarios, it is extremely important to exercise caution. You should consider your own abilities prior to using the product. We do not recommend climbing on your RV's roof, however, our customer's tell us it's the easiest way to install a cover.
Here are some helpful tips:
- RV Covers should only be installed on clean vehicles
- A partner will make it easier to install the cover, but is not required
- Utilize all straps and buckles to prevent loss.
- Do not over-tighten straps and buckles.
- Pad all sharp edges on the vehicle
- For larger covers, you may wish to store the cover in a rolling garbage can
- Covers can be easily washed with a garden hose
- Keep in mind that how you roll the cover back up between uses will affect how easy the cover goes back on the coach
